  1. Amtouch will not be accepting backorder cancellations or any returns on infection control products until further notice. As demand continues to increase due to rising concerns of COVID-19, this amended return policy is necessary to ensure a continuous supply of these products to our customers. However, we reserve the right to cancel any backorders on these items if there are any overdue outstanding balances on the account.
  2. Please note that all actual shipment dates may be different from the estimated dates available on the website given the fluid nature of this situation.
  3. If your office is closed, please contact your account manager to update your shipping address OR to coordinate any pending deliveries in order to ensure timely receipt of products.

We have made updates to our order limits for products affected by the COVID-19 situation:

    • 3 boxes of masks per dental office per week.
    • Glove allocations will be based on office size, previous order quantities, and normal monthly usage.
    • 12 canisters of disinfecting wipes per dental office per week.
    • 1 bottle of hand sanitizer per dental office, pending availability
    • 1 unit each of sterile water, sodium chloride, and Lactated Ringer’s IV fluids per dental office per week.
    • As a result of manufacturer allocations, 2 bottles of rubbing alcohol per office per week 
    • Effective immediately, we will not be fulfilling any orders for toilet paper

 

TEMPORARY CHANGE TO PROCESSING TIMES:

  • Please allow a 3-day processing time on all orders. All orders placed before 3pm PST will be shipped in two days. Orders placed after 3pm PST will be shipped the following day. Subject to change based on product availability.
  • We hope to change this back to 1 day as soon as possible.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we are experiencing unprecedented demand for infection control products such as masks, gloves, disinfecting wipes, and hand sanitizer. During this ever-changing situation, it is still our top priority to keep our customers practicing, serving their patients, and supporting the wellness of our global community.

Please see below for the latest updates regarding inventory and what steps we are taking to ensure supply to as many customers as possible:

  1. We are working closely with manufacturer partners to secure additional inventory where possible.
  2. We are only accepting orders for affected products from dental professionals.
  3. We are not accepting orders for infection control products that are out of stock.
  4. We have established the following order limits:
    • 3 boxes of masks per dental office per week.
    • 20 boxes of gloves per dental office per week.
    • 12 canisters of disinfecting wipes per dental office per week.
    • 1 bottle of hand sanitizer per dental office per week.
    • 1 unit each of sterile water, sodium chloride, and Lactated Ringer’s IV fluids per dental office per week.
As per our previous communication, as a reminder, and until further notice:
  • We will be suspending all local deliveries for the next 30 days to maintain the health and safety of our teams.
  • Please allow a 1-day processing time on all orders. All orders placed before 3pm PST will be shipped the next day. Orders placed after 3pm PST will be shipped the following day. Subject to change based on product availability.
  • We will not be accepting backorder cancellations or any returns on infection control products.
  • No will call or pickup orders.

While we are doing everything possible to keep our prices stable, we reserve the right to increase prices on specific items in the event of extraordinary manufacturer price increases. All aforementioned information is subject to change and products are based on availability.

To our valued customers,

In the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak, our top priority in this fluid situation is to keep our customers practicing, serving their patients, and supporting the wellness of our global community. As the outbreak has escalated to a pandemic, the worldwide demand for infection control products is increasing rapidly. This increased demand has put pressure on the entire supply chain, including our manufacturer partners. Amtouch is making every effort to ensure continuity in the supply of infection control products for our customers as to not disrupt their daily operations.

In order to maintain current service levels and continuous supply, we will only be selling to current Amtouch Dental customers at this time. We have also amended many of our special pricing, discounts, Buy/Get offers, and are reviewing bulk orders to ensure that these promotions do not compromise inventory for our loyal customers.

Due to the sharp rise in demand, supply has become limited and we have received a number of price increases from our manufacturers. Moreover, our manufacturer partners have enforced strict allocations on purchasing infection control products. As a result, we are passing along the increases and allocations on affected products until the market stabilizes. Our primary goal, along with many of our fellow distributors, is to ensure that our customers, and their patients, continue to receive the products they need as to avoid any disruption in care.

Effective March 13, 2020, Amtouch will also be making some modifications to our returns and shipping policies as outlined below:

  1. In order to protect the health and safety of our drivers and internal teams, we will be suspending all local deliveries for the next 30 days. All products will be shipped via UPS. Please contact your account manager for additional information regarding shipping costs.
  2. Please allow a 1-day processing time on all orders. All orders placed before 3pm PST will be shipped the next day. Orders placed after 3pm PST will be shipped the following day. Subject to change based on product availability.
  3. Amtouch will not be accepting backorder cancellations or any returns on infection control products until further notice. As demand increases due to rising concerns of COVID-19, this amended return policy is necessary to ensure a continuous supply of these products to our customers.
  4. Amtouch will not be offering will call or pickup orders until further notice.

Given the dynamic nature of COVID-19, all of the above changes will remain in effect for as long as necessary. We are carefully monitoring inventory and will reinstate regular operations as soon as it is appropriate to do so.

As our company manages this issue, we are constantly reminded that thousands of dentists, and companies, both large and small, are relying on us to keep their patients safe and healthy and their businesses running. As a company that provides infection control products, we have a very important role as a part of the larger healthcare system and are careful, thoughtful, and intentional with every decision being made during this unpredictable time.
